New Museum Opening in Downtown Chicago

Great news Bookworm, an entire museum dedicated to America's literary legacies will be opening in Chicago in 2017.

Chicago is already home to many incredible museums.

The Art Institute, The Museum of Science and Industry, the Money Museum and more are a quick drive to the big city away.

With all of the museums Chicago, and the nation have to offer, it's hard to believe that one celebrating American Writers does not exist.

According to Thrillist, Chicago will become home to the American Writers Museum. It will open in spring of 2017.

The museum will feature rotating exhibitions of artifacts, plus a feature where you can plug in your ZIP code and learn what authors have ties to your hometown.
