When I first read about the new Freeport Middle School program called "Chat and Chew" my first question was, is this even legal?

This new student program separates students by race and gender, according to WREX. Do I need to go any further?

"Chat and Chew" strives to make students feel "safe and valued," by separating them by their race and gender to talk about issues. Instead of a student body working together, let's divide them? How do you unify and build a strong student culture with this 1960's way of thinking?

Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok, Twitter, etc etc...Today's youth deal with enough avenues to build up anxiety and divide themselves.

What's next Freeport Middle School, separate drinking fountains?

Embarrassing.
