Every high school football program has it's own way of doing things. Team dinners the night before a game. Pep rallies to get the student body fired up. Specific chants and pre-game prep to get all the teammates excited...What about pancakes on the sidelines?

When an offensive player blocks a defensive player and puts him on his butt, it's known as a "pancake." The Mt. Zion football coaches reward these blocks with, actual pancakes.

The coaches get excited, the players love it, and the Mt. Zion fan base thinks it's great too...check this out!
