I remember a long time ago, running out of fuel in my wife's car. It was all my fault for not paying close attention. Luckily, I wasn't far from home to grab the lawnmower container. That gave me enough to make it to the gas station.
There are some times that are better than others to run out of gas. This thief in Illinois learned a valuable lesson. If you're going to steal any kind of transportation, make sure the tank is full before taking it.

According to ABC 7 Chicago...
A man in Illinois was arrested Wednesday after he led deputies on chase on a reported stolen motorcycle.
Though it appeared he may have forgotten to check the gas gauge because according to the local sheriff's office, he ran out of gas mid-chase!
Investigators said deputies conducted a traffic stop after noticing the motorcycle had no registration.
The suspect stole a motorcycle, but didn't check for gas. When the local police figured out he was on a hot bike, the chase started. Of course, it didn't last long because the criminal ran out of fuel before he could get away. In one last effort, he tried walking it, but of course, that wasn't going to work. I call that an epic fail.
