When you're running your own business, you have to do what it takes to keep cost down, so your profit can be maximized.

Justin Thomas Strasburg, 35, was questioned by police after someone called in a suspicious vehicle in a construction area. Police arrived to find Strasburg in a Penske truck with invalid license plates.

Police asked what he was doing, to which he told them he "worked for a construction company that installs garage doors and components," according to an affidavit. He later told them he no longer worked for the company.

Investigators called Strasburg's former employer, who told them Strasburg is "responsible for approximately $20,000 in losses due to theft."

Strasburg then "admitted to being involved a large quantity of thefts across Salt Lake and Utah counties. (He) admitted that he had stolen a garage door from Pleasant Grove and a garage door opener from South Jordan."

He also received charges for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Once he was released from the Salt Lake County Jail, a Utah County Sheriff's detective posed as someone looking to buy garage doors. Strasburg was busted trying to sell another stolen door, and then admitted to being the suspect in 8 other garage door related incidents.
