Iowa is the Least Stressed State in the U.S., Illinois Top 10 Most Stressed

Zippia conducted a study to see what states in the U.S. are under the most stress. They chose 6 categories to judge by:

• Long commute times
• Unemployment
• Hours worked
• Population density
• Home price to income ratio
• Percent of uninsured population

Zippia then went through the results of the 2018 U.S. Census and arranged the results into a list ranking stress from 1-50.

2. New Jersey
3. Texas
4. California
5. Maryland
6. Georgia
7. Delaware
8. Virginia
9. Illinois
10. Mississippi

10 Least Stressed States

1. Iowa
2. North Dakota
3. Minnesota
4. Utah
5. Montana
6. Vermont
7. Wisconsin
8. South Dakota
9. Nebraska
10. Maine

While most of the country labels them "fly overs" they are the least stressed, and most quiet states. It's probably because people don't bitch about everything like the people down in God's Waiting Room (Florida)
