Where Average Fans In Illinois Can Run Into Celebrities?

I remember my parents taking me to Harry Carey's restaurant in Chicago for the very first time on my birthday. If you're not familiar, he was the play-by-play announcer for the Chicago Cubs back in the day. His place was a hot spot for fans, out-of-town visitors, and celebrities.

The walls are lined with famous people who've eaten there. In fact, while we were there we saw some players from the New York Knicks basketball team who were in town to play the Chicago Bulls.

If you want to run into celebrities in Illinois, a good place to start is a restaurant owned by someone famous. Of course, they're going to support their friends. Just like if your neighbor owns a business, you're going to most likely buy something from them.
