Illinois Residents Could Soon Be Required To Wear Masks In Public
At a press conference yesterday, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said he's thinking of making everyone wear a mask when out in public.
Chicago suburbs, Skokie, Cicero, Glenview, and Morton Grove currently have a face mask requirement.
This comes as a major wakeup call for anyone who still isn't taking the shelter-in-place order, social distancing, or the coronavirus seriously.
Pritzker previously recommended the use of face masks while in public but a requirement is a completely different story.
We in Illinois aren't alone, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo required all residents who can't avoid social distancing, like on the street or in stores to wear masks.
What about you? Are you wearing a face mask in public in order to protect yourself and others?
