According to MyStateline The Winnebago County Health Department is taking action against three local businesses that did not follow the COVID orders of Illinois Governor Pritzer.
The local spots that are being forced to close, are:
- Fozzy's Bar & Grill
- Neighbor's Bar & Grill
- Doc's Diner
Order of Closures have been issued to these establishments by the WCHD.
Back on October 3rd these orders went into effect, calling for indoor dining to be shut down. Attorney Thomas DeVore has issued a "cease a desist letter" to the Winnebago County Health Department on behalf of a handful of local establishments.
This back and forth has reached the point of "Order of Closure" letters issued. What happens next? With a lawyer on their side, will these local establishments actually shut down?
