Illinois Ranks Third on National List

Everyone is leaving Illinois! Illinois has ranked third on a list of states most moved from in 2015.

According to a study done by United Van Lines, Illinois' population is shrinking dramatically.

Each year, they put out a list of the states people are moving away from most.

This may come as no surprise, but Illinois has ranked in the top five of this list for seven years in a row!

Why are so many people leaving Illinois? Ok, I'll admit... that was a rhetorical questions.

The Top 5 Outbound States for 2015 are:
1. New Jersey
2. New York
3. Illinois
4. Connecticut
5. Ohio

The Top 5 Inbound States for 2015 are:
1. Oregon
2. South Carolina
3. Vermont
4. Idaho
5. North Carolina
