Illinois Man Out For a Run, Attacked by an Owl. Hooter Hits Him in Head.
A La Grange Park, Illinois man was out for a jog when he was hit in the head by a "hooter." PATCH
Daire Barry likes going for a run, but during this specific run...Daire got a little more from the run, than a cold sweat. He was attacked by an owl...not once, but three times!
Daire was out for his jog in the DuPage County forest preserve near Graue Mill, IL. As we was making his way through the trees, he was struck in the back of the head with. He thought that maybe a squirrel fell from a tree. Close, but not really.
He was struck again, and he then saw a giant bird flying above him. What in the world is going on? Is that a hawk looking for something to pick up and eat? Nope. That's an owl and it's attacking you!
This is how Daire handled the situation, like a pro I might add:
"There's a huge bird flying around my head my initial thought was that it was a hawk. Then it landed in a tree. I shined my light. It was a big brown owl. I was kind of freaking out. I was yelling at it. I've heard owls there, but not seen them, I will risk it again. I'm a glutton for punishment." - Daire Barry
So he yelled at an owl, and will continue to run this forest. This guy is a joggin' gangsta, you go Mr. Barry.
