Illinois Ice Cream Maker and Butcher Shop Create Perfect Flavor for Breakfast
If you are a bacon lover, you may have a tough time not eating ice cream for breakfast after seeing what Dairyhaus and Main Street Meats have created.
National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
Can you guess what you do to celebrate this little holiday? Do we really need to wait a whole year in between ice cream breakfasts? I know two people who want your lips on an ice cream spoon tomorrow morning.
To be certain that one ice cream flavor would immediately be top-of-mind for breakfast, one of the area's best ice cream makers reached out to a local butcher for some flavoring assistance.
Rockton's Dairyhaus and Roscoe's Main Street Meats collaborate on a limited run flavor
This isn't the first time that Brent Murray and his team have come up with flavors perfectly-made for a breakfast.
There's a Dairyhaus collab with Rockford Roasting Company
RRC's 'The Symbol' coffee is cold brewed in cream for half a day. Then the grounds are strained, the cream gets churned into an amazing coffee ice cream
The Bourbon Praline ice cream from Dairyhaus fills an often empty spot in our winter lives, As Dairyhaus owner Brent Murray puts it...
"Bourbon Praline, because sometimes these cold, blustery February mornings need a little 'hair of the dog' for us to get going."
Returning to steal the show is, Maple Bacon, one of the first ever Dairyhaus collaborations
"Smooth sweet maple ice cream, perfectly paired with Main Street Meat's crunchy, salty, smokey bacon! That salty sweet combination may sound CRAZY to you, but I promise, it's CRAZY GOOD." (Brent/Dairyhaus)
Thank you Brent and Matt King from Main Street Meats for bring this flavor back.
