Who knew that a simple furniture delivery in Illinois could turn so ugly so fast?

Battle Between Moving Company And Homeowner Turns Ugly In Illinois

A young family purchases a new house in Naperville. I remember those days. We didn't own a lot of furniture, so we had to buy quite a bit for our home. This couple went out and ordered thousands of dollars' worth of furniture for their new place.

The delivery didn't go as planned. I hate moving, but dealing with movers isn't great either. I understand this guy's pain. He hired a moving company, and they did a terrible job. The crew did a bunch of damage to this new home and furniture.

A massive argument started between the homeowner and the moving crew. Both sides threatened the other. The cops were called, and it started a whole blame game. I think everyone was lying. Since the movers called 911, they showed up at the residence with guns drawn, and the family was scared.

According to CBS News...

A Naperville family has filed a lawsuit against a huge furniture company after the delivery crew called police.

The lawsuit against Ashley and other companies involved asks for at least $50,000 in damages, but Jacob said what he wants most of all is an apology.

It's been months since the incident, and it still isn't resolved. The family hasn't received all of their new furniture and the damage hasn't been fixed. He has lawsuit against the moving and furniture companies.
