Illinois 280 Pound Marijuana Bust, Just Hours South of Rockford

Jordan Pratt, 25 was busted in August for having a lot of weed....a LOT!

Illinois cops arrived to Jordan's location, the "reason" the cops went there remains a mystery. When authorities arrived, there was evidence of LARGE amounts of weed. So the cops obtained a search warrant and made their way in.

Once in, 280lbs of pot was discovered...With the intent to deliver. You didn't think he was going to smoke all that by himself, did you?

Also found during the search was other "narcotic related objects," whatever that means...AND meth, dude had meth.

Bond was set at $70,000 for Jordan and there is no collecting $200 and passing "Go."

Cops referred to there stop at Jordan's residence as a "service" call...Whatever that means. Maybe a neighbor made an call, maybe you could smell skunk a mile away? Who knows.

• Unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver
• Unlawful possession of methamphetamine

The bust took place in Godfrey, Illinois which is in Madison County. It's about four hours south of Rockford. The population of Godfrey, is 17,982. The southwest boundary is right along the Mississippi River.
