IL Cops Bust Former Bulls Star For Fighting At Popular Restaurant

A former Chicago Bulls player was arrested late at night for fighting at a fast food restaurant in Illinois.

Think about coming in as a new up-and-coming player for the Bulls since they've struggled for so many years. That creates even more pressure.

Former Chicago Bulls Star Player Arrested

Former Bulls star (2005-2009), Ben Gordon got busted by police for hitting a security guard. It happened this past weekend late Friday night / early Saturday morning at 3:30 AM. He was at McDonald's on Clark Street in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. It's one of the only places open at that time. He also got into a brawl with another customer while he was being kicked out. The charge was battery.

The Former NBA Has Struggled Since Retirement

Gordon has encountered challenges after his retirement in 2015 from the NBA.

 

In a 2020 essay in The Player’s Tribune, he details how mounting pressures affected his mental health.

 

The former player was also arrested a few weeks ago at a New York City airport. Hopefully, he can get some help and work through his problems.
