Annual Autism Awareness Night With The Rockford IceHogs

Every hockey season in Illinois, there is a special night I look forward to with the Rockford IceHogs, and this year it's happening on Saturday, January 24th, so get your tickets now to make plans to be there. Trust me, you don't want to miss it.

The 15th Annual Autism Awareness Night With The Rockford IceHogs

Over the last few years, I've been able to learn a lot more about Autism. My daughter teaches in an Autism classroom for the Rockford School District. She's also worked in the Therapeutic Recreation team of the Rockford Park District during the summers since she was 16. She recruited me to be a volunteer announcer for Buddy and Allstars Sports Programs.

This is a very special night for the families of children with Autism. It raises money for programs in the Rockford community that support these families. Plus, it is a fun night out. If you only go to one IceHogs game this season, please come out for this one. 96.7 The Eagle is proud to be involved with this night.
