Don’t Miss This Hidden Gem Wisconsin Pub with Huge Aquarium on Your Dells Trip
This rustic, Northwoods-like pub is a must-make stop on your next trip near Wisconsin Dells with excellent food, old-fashioneds, and a 4000-gallon spectacle.
Things To Do in The Wisconsin Dells
The Waterpark Capital of the World is filled with hundreds of different ways to have a good time. It's not hard to miss all the thrilling waterparks and attractions with huge signs everywhere.
What can be tough to find are many of Dells' great places to relax and grab dinner. As with any city, it's often those little out-of-the-way places that serve some of the most amazing food and drinks and you won't find their signs among the gain billboards lining every main road around town.
Such is the case with this little-known pub that the locals love.
River’s Edge Pub and Grub
Just two miles from downtown Wisconsin Dells, a joint so rustic you may forget exactly where you are.
I love places that bring trees inside.
River's Edge is rustic.
Is their best feature a huge bar and two large dining rooms?
That's all great, but it's not their best feature
Is it a menu filled with great steaks, prime rib, roasted chicken, and lots of fresh fish?
Nope. All fantastic, but not the best feature at River's Edge.
The best feature at River's Edge Pub and Grub,
the biggest of spectacles is a 4000-gallon fish tank filled with the very same species that swim in the river on which the place sits and quite often will be freshly made into the meal on your plate. Perch, pike, walleye, and more.
There's something delicious for everyone in your group. I think I'll have this prime rib and shrimp special right here, please.
Check out the full menu here.
Word is that they serve quite the old-fashioned as River's Edge, too. I like my old-fashioned made with Southern Comfort, how do you like yours?
River's Edge Pub and Grub is located at 30 County Road A Wisconsin Dells, WI
