A recent salmonella outbreak across the country has been linked to Red Onions. From CNBC 30 states have reported salmonella cases from these Red Onions They come from a California company.
There is a recall of red, white, yellow and sweet onions from a company called "Thomson International." As you are looking and purchasing at your favorite local grocery store, keep an eye out for that brand name.
