Celebrate this holiday by complaining about how disgusting candy corn is by making this questionable cocktail.

I was surprised on how many people did not realize that candy corn is in the shape of corn kernels. I know, your mind was blown right? Also, when you stack them all together in a circular pattern... they create a corn on the cob! I'm a plethora of knowledge I know.

If candy corn and cocktails are your thing, I suggest hitting up the liquor store so you can try this drink. Now keep in mind, I've never tried it. It comes from Betty Crocker, so it has to be good right?

I have to start out by saying that this drink will take you at least 4 hours to make. Why? You have to make your own candy corn infused vodka. I know that sounds a bit difficult, but it's as easy as adding ice to a glass.

The ingredients you need are:

  • 1 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • Ice

Directions:

  • To make candy corn-infused vodka, mix vodka and candy corn in a jar; seal tight and let stand at least 4 hours.
  • Strain vodka to remove candy.
  • For each serving, in chilled cocktail shaker, place 1/2 cup infused vodka and 1/4 pineapple juice; add ice. Shake; pour into martini glass. If desired, garnish each with additional candy corn.

So that's it!

Make a note though: the longer you leave the vodka and candy corn infusing, the sweeter your cocktail will be!
