A Good Samaritan in Arizona is facing charges after trying to do a good deed and help out the local police department.

Steven Engberg was walking down the street in Scottsdale, AZ when he noticed a police car with its emergency lights on just sitting and blocking a lane of traffic.

Thinking he would free up the roadway, Steve opened the door and got right in the squad's driver's seat.

He pulled the car around to a nearby parking lot, as police ran after what they thought was about to be a stolen police car. Once he got out and started walking again, police grabbed and arrested him. They had been on a call at a business, where they parked outside.

Steve's BAC also was twice the legal limit, but does one bad thing really outweigh the good?

Steven Egberg was charged with Unlawful Means of Transportation and a DUI.
