A suspect under suspicion for a series of crimes was arrested by police in Illinois as he was coming out of a popular local donut shop.

The suspect was drunk and decided to get himself into some serious trouble. He jumps in his car and heads to Joliet. We must've been angry at someone because he drove through a neighborhood and started yelling out his window. That's when he shot a gun at a house. Luckily, no one was hurt.

The local police found him just a few minutes later, walking out of a popular donut shop. He must've worked up an appetite for some tasty munchies. Isn't it usually the cops eating donuts, not the criminals?

When the officers searched his vehicle, they found a gun sitting shotgun. By the way, it was reported stolen. I guess if you're going to get arrested, you might as well go all in. Surprisingly, he went calmly to jail.

A 47-year-old man who comes from Morris, Andrew Planeta, is now housed in the Will County Jail following Tuesday night's shooting in a west-side Joliet neighborhood that resulted in his capture several minutes later at the Home Cut Donuts where he was a customer.

 

Residents heard a gunshot and saw a man driving from the scene while yelling toward a nearby residence, Joliet police revealed.

Joliet police announced that Planeta is charged with being an armed habitual criminal, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, reckless discharge of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession of firearms and firearms ammunition, use of a stolen firearm, having No FOID, four counts of aggravated DUI and DUI.
