Inside Look At The Hard Rock Casino Rockford On Opening Day

Over the weekend, one of my friends asked me "What was it like walking into the Hard Rock Casino Rockford for the very first time?" One thing popped into my mind. Do you remember in the movie "Willie Wonka" when he brings the children into the chocolate factory? Just like that but for adults.

I walked around the building several times. On each lap, I spotted something new. I felt like I was transported from Rockford to Vegas. The whole experience was mind-blowing. Even if you're not a big gambler, I highly recommend checking it out for all the cool sights.

Besides gaming, there are several restaurants, bars, entertainment, music, merchandise, and lots of that famous music memorabilia. Even with that huge crowd on opening day, there was plenty of room to move about the casino without too much trouble.

It was great to see so many residents from different demographics having a good time all together. The staff was friendly and helpful too. The grand opening of the Hard Rock will always be a great memory for me and I'm so happy I got to experience part of Rockford's history.
