Believing you can steal from your work and not get caught is living in a fantasy world. Businesses keep detailed records of cash, merchandise, and anything else. It might take them a bit to figure it out, but eventually they will, and you'll get arrested.
Glen Ellen is a really nice suburb. It's the town where the movie "Lucas" was filmed. There are many huge houses, where the homeowners have to hire staff for chores like cleaning. The boss has to be able to trust their employees. A woman had earned that.

Apparently, she wasn't satisfied with the job or what she was making, so the woman decided to steal from one of her clients. The suspect took some jewelry. It wasn't just a couple of pieces; it was $11,000 worth. No way the owner wasn't going to miss it. The cleaning lady was busted and won't work in that industry anymore.

An Illinois cleaning woman has been charged with stealing about $11,000 in jewelry from a client’s home.
Police say Frances Carter, 44, took the items while cleaning, but the jewelry was later recovered.
She was released ahead of her trial and is due back in court on Sept. 29.
