Furries Rescue Woman Being Attacked

A group of Furries noticed a woman being beaten by a man outside of the San Jose FurCon Convention, and came to the rescue.

The victim was in a car outside the convention center being beaten by Demetri Hardnett, according to witnesses.

"The guy was just walloping on a lady. He had to have hit her 10 times," Kin Shiratsuki, one of the rescuers, said.

Shiratsuki and some other furry bystanders pulled the man out of the car and wrestled him to the ground and off the victim. They held him down until the police arrived.

Shiratsuki said he's taken taekwondo his whole life.

Demetri Hardnett was arrested and charged with domestic assault.
