Friday Brings a “Strawberry,” Full Moon at 2:12 pm
Friday June 5th, brings a "Strawberry" Full Moon to our skies. That is what Algonquin tribes referred to it as. A European called it the Mead Moon or the Honey Moon.
According to NASA this full moon will appear at 2:12 pm on Friday, and will stick around for three days.
The moon will pass through shadows of the earth, which causes a partial penumbral eclipse.
Yes it will have a red look. Yes you will be able to see it. Yes it's better than 99% of the stuff happening on earth.
