Football Team You Root For Says What Type of Lover You Are

Chicago Bears? Green Bay Packers? What does it say about your love life?

I had a hard time figuring out why my sister fell in love with a Packers fan in the beginning. See, we were born south siders who loved all things Bears and White Sox. The girls in my family are tough, strongly opinionated and never let anything get us down. The one thing we learned is to love football and baseball and show our Chicago south-sider-pride.

My sister married a Cubs and Packers fan. Whoa.

Turns out that her husband is one of the greatest men on the planet. He's an amazing father, even better brother-in-law, hard worker and so loving and sweet to my sister. I couldn't have hand picked a better match if I tried.

When I stumbled upon this list from elitedaily.com, I couldn't help but check to see what it said about being a Packers fan. Does it have any truth to it? Is it true that the football team you root for can say what type of boyfriend/husband you are?

If you are a Chicago Bears fan:

This guy is belligerent and bullish. Your relationship with him just can’t be good, it has to have an edge to it. Subtlety is not his strong suit.

Green Bay Packers fan:

He’s the simple, low-key, small-town guy, which adds to his charm. He might not be down for going to a club on Friday night, but he’ll watch the sunrise with you.

Oakland Raiders fan: (for my sweetie)

He is not too far removed from a ridiculously long relationship that featured lots of promises, but a whole bunch of letdowns and is still scared from that experience. You’ll have some work to do in reversing the lingering effects of that relationship.

I think the Packers fan is spot on, Bears fans sound all like Mike Ditka and Raiders fans are just looking for a break. Could this be true? What do you think, let me know in the comments below.
