I had quite the "Good Friday". Nothing an emergency surgery can't take care of!

A couple weeks ago I injured myself, hurt my right hand. Spent several nights icing it, Ibuprofen, etc. I thought it was getting better, but I guess not.

On Friday afternoon I was at work and figured it was about time I go to the dreaded doctor.

X-Rays, finger broken. Man have X-Rays come a long way HD, 3-D monitor, technology rules.

So long story short, the Ortho called and said you need this fixed ASAP.  Friday night I had two screws put in my finger.

I am left handed, this is my right hand. But you really start realizing how much you use both hands for. I will be without full usage of my right hand for a few weeks.

Here are Five Things I Need two Hands for: (get your mind out of the gutter)

  • Opening, anything. Bottles, cans, Zip Lock Bags,
  • Shaving
  • Turning key to Start car
  • Zipping my hoodie
  • Hooking up door with the leash to go for a walk

Thankfully my job doesn't require much or any physical activity.
