Five Problems With the Illinois Medical Marijuana Program

The Illinois Medical Marijuana journey is off and running, but are there issues with it?

We talk about benefits, and laws changing in Illinois in regards to marijuana. Weighing the pros and cons of such a huge situation in this state.

What are the issues that Illinois faces with it's Medical Marijuana Program? I'm sure Colorado and California have their share of issues as well.

According to Reboot Illinois here are Five Problems With the Illinois Medical Marijuana Program.

• Not enough approved conditions - Who gets it, what are the rules and are they fair?

• Fear of pot doctors - I've seen these guys all over in California
  

• Not enough customers - Will Illinois have too much pot and not enough buyers

• Fingerprinting is a pain - This is an Illinois law

• It’s expensive - Application fees, Dr fees, annual fees

Eventually in my opinion, it will be legal across the board in Illinois and that will change all of these rules.

It way take another 10 years for this to happen, but as society becomes more open minded about it's health benefits the laws will change.
