A new game club in Chicago will help make you feel like you're on a vacation.

I've been to many clubs/bars in my life. They all have different ways of entertaining the customers. There's the normal live music, DJ, karaoke, or sports bar. Then you have sand volleyball, board games, retro video games, bowling, and even bocce ball.

Now, there is someplace completely different to check out not too far from Rockford.

According to chicagotribune.com,

"Chicago has it's very first shuffleboard club."

It's called Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club and is located at 1750 North Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago.

I don't know about you but the only time I've seen or played shuffleboard is on vacation in Florida. I have to admit, I really enjoyed playing it. The game is known for being played in retirement communities in the south and on cruise ships.

Here's your chance to try it out in Illinois.

They even try to give you the feeling that you are on vacation with the setup. It has a hotel style design with tropical decor. They even serve tropical drinks.

On a day like today that's cold and windy with snow on the ground, a little taste of the "Sunshine State" isn't a bad thing.
