The Rock River in Machesney Park has hit record levels as of Sunday. This video shows just how bad things are getting just north of Harlem Road.

The drone-shot video below is looking at the Shore Drive neighborhood, just north of Harlem Road. The video was posted to Facebook just as the water level was reaching 14.3 feet, according to the National Weather Service. The river is expected to get higher, so that record is only temporary. The prediction is at least 14.5 by Monday morning, according to wrex.com.

This is not the only area of the river causing flooding issues. It spreads from downtown Rockford, not to Rockton and beyond. Flooding along the Pecatonica River in Freeport is starting to become a major problem as well.
