Christmas Advent Calendar For Adults

Finally, someone came up with an adult version of an advent calendar for Christmas.

I remember every year as a kid, my Mom would buy me an advent calendar.

If you're not familiar with advent calendars, they are basically a way for kids to countdown the days until Christmas. It does have a much deeper meeting, but I'm just trying to keep it simple.

It's usually a Christmas themed picture with little doors you can open throughout. They are all numbered one through twenty-four. That represents December 1st until the 24th. The doors open and there is a different Christmas themed picture inside for each day.

One year, I was really lucky and my Mom got me one that gave you a piece of candy each day.

Of course, this is a great idea for children. Parents not so much.

Finally, someone has come up with an advent calendar for people twenty-one and older.

There are ones you can go out and buy, but the best part is you can totally do this yourself. Go out and get a case of beer and you're set to go. You could also do shots, a glass of wine, or your favorite mixed drink. The possibilities are endless.

The best part of this whole concept is you're having a drink to count down the holidays, so it's all good. Instead of drinking to just get drunk.
