Chicago Area Casting Call Looking For Star Of New Spielberg Flick
Steven Spielberg is looking in the Chicago area for someone that might fit an important role in his new movie.
The movie is called The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara, and according to JCC Chicago "This is a unique role for a truly special boy up for a challenge. The story deals with the complexity of an extremely intelligent and gifted child’s desire to both return to his family and explore an exciting new world."
Besides the obvious TV to major motion picture casting call that you normally hear about, the casting agency is only looking for one specific person.
The casting call is open to all 6-9 year old boys, and it happens this Sunday, February 12 at Bernard Weinger JCC in Northbrook.
Cast It Talent says, "BOY age 6-9 to play 6 years old. This is a unique role for a truly special boy up for a challenge. The story deals with the complexity of an extremely intelligent and gifted child’s desire to both return to his family and explore an exciting new world. HE SHOULD APPEAR TO BE A JEWISH ITALIAN BOY. No accent needed. The film will shoot in Europe beginning April 2017. We are looking for a truly special, gifted, curious and intelligent boy with a mischievous streak who appears to be Jewish and Italian."
