Haunted Illinois Theater To Host Horror Film Series This Fall
I understand the convenience of streaming. You don't have to get off the couch to watch your favorite movie. The only problem is that you're missing out on the whole experience. Movies were made to watch on your phone or even a TV at your house. Films were designed to experience on the big screen. Personally, I enjoy it much better that way. Plus, you get the whole theater vibe.

According to the Egyptian Theatre...
This fall, our Horror Film Series brings five frighteningly fun nights to DeKalb, with a lineup spanning nearly 60 years of horror.
From classic laughs and supernatural scares to killer creatures, iconic slashers, and modern horror, there's something for every kind of fan.

Horror movies are especially made to experience on the big screen in a dark theater. It's much creeper that way. Plus, the Egyptian Theatre is haunted. That adds a whole other level to your evening. You could actually have a paranormal moment while watching a scary movie. It's a real cool theater too. I've been down there a few times and had a lot of fun.

Here is the schedule for the Horror Film Series at the Egyptian Theatre this fall...
- September 29th (Tuesday) "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken"
- October 6th (Tuesday) "Carrie" (1976)
- October 13th (Tuesday) "The Blob" (1988)
- October 20th (Tuesday) "Scream" (1996)
- October 29th (Thursday) "Sinners" (2025)
