Chicago Museum Reopens With A Tribute To Late-night Legends
If you're a fan of the late-night talk shows on television, then you definitely have to check out this "must-see" pop-up exhibit coming to Chicago.
Chicago To Host Pop-Up Exhibit Featuring Late-Night TV Talk Shows
I remember my dad was a big fan of the late-night TV talk shows. He watched Johnny Carson, but his favorite was David Letterman. I remember when I had a day off from school, the next day, I would stay up and watch it with him. I wake up too early now to watch them, but I'll check them out when I get a chance.

There are so many under-the-radar attractions in Illinois, especially in Chicago. One of my favorites for a long time was The Chicago Museum of Broadcast Communications. They had so many cool exhibits through the years. Unfortunately, it temporarily closed a couple of years ago, but now it's back.
The broadcasting museum is opening up a pop-up location at 440 West Randolph Street. This new spot will feature two new amazing exhibits. One about the late-night TV talk shows and another completely about the king, Johnny Carson. What a great way to come back.

According to NBC Chicago...
A popular Chicago museum that shuttered in 2023 after more than 40 years is officially reopening in a new way with two major exhibits that date back decades.
The Chicago Museum of Broadcast Communications will open its doors this fall in a new pop-up location, the release said, with exhibits honoring the "King of Late Night" Johnny Carson, a release said, along with a separate section depicting "The Evolution of Late Night Television."
The "Journey Through 75 Years of Late-Night" portion will walk guests through different hosts through the years, ranging from Steve Allen and Jack Paar to David Letterman, Arsenio Hall, Joan Rivers, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and more.
