At least now when your flight is delayed you won't be eating into your data plan.

ChicagoTribune - Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports will now have unlimited free Wi-Fi, as long as they're willing to watch an occasional ad, the city's Aviation Department announced Sunday.

The service will be provided by Boingo. If you've been to an airport in the past decade you've seen their ads. They have been offering 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi in the past but now they're expanding the program.

This sounds good but I'm pretty wary about the reliability of the signal. Free Wi-Fi is great until it takes 30 minutes to check your email because of spotty service. Don't want to complain about a free service but these are the first-world problems that plague us all.

Now all they need to install are free phone charging stations and we'll be all set to spend the night in the airport after our flight gets cancelled.
