If you're thinking summer 2020 is going to be endless days of you and the family hanging out in your backyard, think again.

Truth be told, I wasn't even aware of this place up until just a few days ago when I accidentally stumbled across something called Coconut Cove Resort.

WHAT KIND OF VACATION ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

Located in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, just two hours from Rockford, Coconut Cove Resort sounds like the kind of place made for day trips, weekend getaways, or full-on summer vacations.

Coconut Cove Resort:

Whether you bring the kids, or if you just need a little adult time, for a day, a weekend, or longer, come discover this new tropical theme resort...This special family-friendly resort has become the destination of choice for both seasonal and overnight campers. But we also offer a warm welcome to day visitors.

Guests and local day passes cost $15 per person during the week and $20 on weekends.

There are bars and restaurants, available for daily visitors but it looks like if you want the full Coconut Cove experience, you have to stay overnight.

Overnight campers get access to the pool and, if you're an adult, more importantly, the poolside bar all of which sound amazing.

THIS PLACE HAS JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING

Coconut Cove also offers an Aqua Park too, open 7 days a week which you can also buy single-day passes for entry. $25 during the week and $30 on weekends.

Built just a few years ago, Coconut Cove is definitely a hot spot for vacationers in 2020. Reservations look like they're tough to come by, but if you search hard enough, you'll find a date that works for you and your friends or family.

After going through all the information regarding Coconut Cove, I'm stunned I haven't heard about this place earlier. Now I need to take a trip ASAP.

Coconut Cove Resort is located at 1549 Bluff Road in Hazel Green, Wisconsin. For booking information go to coconutcoveresort.com or call 608.748.5480 with any questions.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
