Salvation Army Holiday Assistance Registration Information
The Salvation Army is prepared to help those in need this holiday season in Winnebago County.
Every child deserves a fantastic holiday season, and the Salvation Army is here once again to help.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday, November 18th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. families in Winnebago County can register to receive Christmas food and toys.
Each year the Salvation Army helps over 3,000 families with food for the holidays.
Registration will be held at the Salvation Army of Winnebago County offices at 210 N. Kilburn Ave. in Rockford.
According to WIFR, if you plan on going to registration, you should bring:
- Photo ID for the head of household
- Proof of address for every member of the household, including children. Acceptable forms are current medical cards, lease, recent mail or school records.
- Proof of birthday for every child in household ages 15 and younger.
