Summer 2020 was incredibly empty. No concerts, minimal sports, and one of the worst parts, no state fairs/carnivals. AKA no fair food. Which should be illegal. Every midwesterner has a right of passage to eat as much fair food as they want all summer long and not feel guilty about it. But this summer we didn't have that luxury.

That's why The Byron Firefighter's Association and Skinner's Amusements is hosting another Cure for the No Fair Food Blues this coming weekend September 19 and 20th. It'll be happening at Byron Fire Protection District from 12pm - 6pm each day.

The Facebook event page details -

Cure your summertime no fair food blues with Skinner Amusements & Byron Fire Fighters Association on September 19th and 20th from Noon-6:00 pm Corner of Blackhawk and Washington.
(All Mandatory COVID-19 Guidelines will be followed)
So if you've been craving fair food, now's your time to get your fix. I can't lie, my summer has definitely felt emptier considering it hasn't included fried ores, and giant pretzels, and cotton candy. And a giant lemonade, and maybe some popcorn. Oh I also want a giant corn dog and some sweet corn. Anyways, what was I saying?
Oh yeah, fair food, we all need it. So get it this weekend in Byron!
