It was only a misdemeanor before, but bestiality is now a felony in Wisconsin.

This past Tuesday, Governor Tony Evers signed sixty bills into law while vetoing two.

Evers signed one bill that will make more information about Lyme Disease available in state parks, along with one that will help fight the misuse of opioids and other drugs.

But the big one that was put into place was finally making sexually assaulting an animal in Wisconsin a felony.

Why wasn't this the case before? Apparently the need wasn't there until now.

Wait, what?!?!

It's 2020, you'd think things like that would be happening less, not more. But that's not what's going on here.

It seems the need for greater penalties for sexually abusing animals after one man has been continuously arrested for molesting a horse.
