There are tons of apps around to help someone desperate land a date.

Gone are the days when you'd need to call the police dispatch repeatedly in order to get some "quality time."

Wait a minute, that was never a sound approach to finding that special someone?

That must've been what Benjamin Duddles, 47, from Waukesha, Wisconsin, was thinking when he was scooped up last week for calling the police one too many times and asking police dispatchers if they wanted to "fool around" or "spend some quality time together" according to The Smoking Gun.

When cops arrived, Duddles was intoxicated and promptly arrested and charged with two misdemeanor drug counts and unlawful phone use.

This isn't the first time Duddles called the Waukesha Police for a ridiculous reason. In 2013, he dialed 911 to get a woman "snoring like a train" out of his bed.
