What To Do If You Think Your Winnebago County Property Assessment Is Too High

Many Winnebago County homeowners received their property assessments last week and most of those people are waiting for a property tax increase.

Some homeowners went straight to Facebook to share how much their individual property value increase, as much as nearly 30%. I'm not a homeowner but I would think higher property taxes would soon follow an assesment. I might not be far off on that assumpution because MyStateline.com shared how Winnebago County homeowners can complain about the assessment if they believe they were overassessed.
