What I Learned From WWE Star Booker T

What an amazing weekend at Geek'd Con.

From Friday night until Sunday night, I got to spend a lot of time with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Booker was one of the celebrities at Geek'd Con which was a huge success thanks to you.

I've been very lucky to have met a ton of WWE Superstars, Booker T was one of the nicest and most down to earth. Loves his wife and kids, loves his life. Booker takes what he does very serious, but doesn't take himself too serious.

We did a lot of talking about radio, politics, wrestling, football, food, you name it. He speaks from the heart, doesn't pull any punches and is real about everything.  I thought I would recap a few random things I learned from WWE Star Booker T:

• Football - JJ Watt is done. After this surgery, might as well hang it up.
• Politics - Jerry The King Lawler loves Donald Trump. King gets his buttons pushed about his Trump support all the time in the WWE locker room.
• Family - Booker has some little ones that he loves dearly. Being able to cash out in a hotel bed without kids jumping on him while he's trying to sleep is a great escape.
• Golf - Booker loves to hit the links and wants his own Ice-T and lemonade drink!
• WWE - The new generation of stars are really athletic, and go 100 mph all the time. A little too fast for his taste.
• The Fans - I moderated the Booker T panel, this guy was so good with the fans. Answered every question with a smile, even the difficult ones.

Such a great weekend with a pro wrestling legend. I look forward to visiting Texas for the first time and hooking up with "Book" really soon.
