Viral Video of Out-of-Control Catering Cart at O’Hare Airport

American Airlines is investigating an incident involving an out-of-control catering cart that took place at O'Hare Airport in Chicago yesterday.

While the video footage one passenger captured of the tarmac commotion is fascinating, this incident came dangerously close to an emergency situation.

According to NBC Chicago, American Airlines released a statement saying that a stuck accelerator caused the catering cart to go out of control. American Airlines also said, "We appreciate the quick action of our team member who stopped the vehicle, safety is our top priority and we are working with our partners to investigate the incident."
