Top 10 Left Handed People in History
This past Saturday was "Left Handed Day", a day that I celebrate.
A couple weeks ago I threw out the first pitch at The Rockford Rivets game. After I brought the heat I heard the same question 20 times, "You're left handed"? Um, yes all my life?
It's funny to me how people look at being left handed as this crazy thing. Almost like, how do you operate on a daily basis like that? Does it feel weird? Does it suck doing things backwards?
Well if this makes me different that's great. If this makes me weird, I'm the weirdest. As far as backwards, sure. I always got a kick out of playing a pick-up basketball game and people would go, wow you go to your left really good....I'm left handed!
So in honor of Left Handed Day this past Saturday, let's look at The Top Ten Lefties according to TIME where is my name?
- Barack Obama
- Bill Gates
- Oprah Winfrey
- Babe Ruth
- Napoleon
- Leonardo da Vinci
- Marie Curie
- Aristotle
- Ned Flanders
- Jimi Hendrix
Not a bad list, huh? So next time a "weirdo" lefty is around you just remember Jimi.
Here is a little scientific breakdown of being a "Lefty" enjoy!
