Today (July 24th) is Illinois "Speed Awareness Day." (You will be WATCHED today)

According to Village of Roscoe Police 37,133 lives were lost in crashes last year.

Take your time today (and everyday if possible), watch your speed, leave earlier, and arrive alive.

From Faces4 here are facts about speeding:

  • Speeding reduces a driver’s ability to steer safely around curves or objects in the roadway.
  • Speeding extends the distance required to stop a vehicle in emergency situations.
  • When speeding there is a greater chance that other road users will misjudge how fast you are traveling.
