Three Local High Schools made the U.S. News and World Report's 2018 best high school rankings.

The schools that made the list were Beloit Tuner, Hononegah, and Stillman Valley high schools.

Beloit Turner is ranked as the 55th best high school for the state of Wisconson. Hononegah ranked 41st and 62nd for Stillman Valley in Illinois. Giving a three schools silver rankings.

Schools are ranked on their college readiness out of a 100 and based on how many students took and passed advanced placement exams.

Out of 42% of students that took the placement exams, Turner had a college readiness of 33.3. Hononegah had 43% of students that took the exam, giving them a college readiness of 35.6. Stillman Valley's college readiness was 24.3 out of 45% of students taking the exam.

There were also some local high schools that received a bronze ranking. they were Byron, Pecatonica, Dakota Durand, and Forreston.
