THE Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Set to Return in November

2019 ... the year the world lost their minds over a chicken sandwich.

I might be bitter because I never got to try one. I refused to wait in an hour long line just for a sandwich. But I can't lie, I'm excited to try one when they come back.

Popeyes is gearing up heavy for the comeback. Bloomberg reports -

Sun Holdings Inc., which operates about 150 Popeyes locations, will offer the item beginning in early November, according to Chief Executive Officer Guillermo Perales. To prepare, the restaurants are hiring additional 400 employees and may dedicate up to two people per store to make the sandwich, he said.

So when is the comeback? Well, there's not a specific date yet, but there is a pretty specific range. According to Bloomberg it's early November but they detail -

Restaurant Brands didn’t confirm the date of the sandwich’s relaunch: “As soon as we’re ready to announce a date, we will let the world know!”
