The Most Popular Taco Place in Illinois Is…

Here's a hint, they serve green tortillas. Yup, they are emerald green in color!

Tacos are one of my favorite foods. I think it's my favorite for the fact that there are so many variations.

Chorizo, Corn, Chicken, Steak, Pork... doesn't matter. The possibilities are endless!

One thing you won't find on my tacos are beans or sour cream. Yuck, it creeps me out.

Finding good tacos can be a difficult task. There is no shortage of taco joints across Illinois, but finding one that is unique, different and something extremely special can be a challenge.

I've been to many, trying to find the perfect taco, but haven't found that "one" yet.

I've been to small south side Chicago joints which are extremely authentic and tasty, I've been to Tex-Mex places that serve extremely fresh organic fair and I've even been to a taco joint that has over 300 hot sauces for you to try.

I thought I have seen it all, but one thing I haven't, are emerald green tortilla shells!

According to BuzzFeed, the most popular taco place in all of Illinois is T & B Grill in Chicago. They based their ranking on popularity on Yelp.

Now here is what makes T & B Grill stick out in my mind. They serve bright green tortillas. Homemade cilantro and jalapeno tortillas. That's what gives them their bright green shade.

I don't know about you, but that sounds amazing!
