The Belvidere Chrysler Plant employees many Stateline residents, and they have this man to thank.

Auto legend Sergio Marchionne has passed away at 66 according to CNN.

Mr. Marchionne was the CEO of Fiat, which brought Chrysler out of bankruptcy back in 2009. Under the leadership of Sergio, the company emerged debt-free and is a profitable automaker.
