The House Approves Bill to Legalize Pot on FEDERAL Level

This is some historical stuff people. According to CNBC the House Judiciary Committee approved a bill today that legalizes pot on the federal level.

This mean, states can enact their own policies and they can clear criminal records of low level marijuana offenses.

According to this article the Republican-controlled Senate will be the most difficult hurdle, but the 234 seats occupied by the Democrats should do just fine.

This taking place would also remove it from Schedule 1 of the Controlled Substances Act. This is a big deal people.
